Use your cells to Regenerate yourself!
When we suffer an injury, the human body releases proteins (cellular signals) to stimulate the process of repairing that injury. With PRGF®- Endoret® (Platelet Rich Growth Factors) and PRF® (Platelet Rich Fibrin) technology we manage to isolate from the patient’s blood the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) that contains these proteins that speed up regeneration.
Once a therapeutic dose is applied to the treatment area, the regeneration process of wounds is considerably accelerated. To carry out this process, it is necessary to draw a small amount of blood from the patient. This blood is centrifuged and processed to obtain the proteins essential for regeneration. These proteins are applied to the area where tissue regeneration is necessary.
Did you know that the solution for a healthy mouth is inside you?
How can PRGF®-Endoret® & PRF® help you?
Lower Infection Risk and/or post-surgical complications: Thickly covers the wound and seals the wound away from infectious agents.
Lower Risk of Rejection: Implanted bone grafting material and implants are mixed and coated with what comes from the patient’s blood.
Accelerated Healing: The saturation of the wound with PRGF or PRF helps increase tissue synthesis due to its growth factors, and this in turn results in faster tissue regeneration. Faster healing decreases the risk of problems or discomfort and pain.
Safety: Disease transmission is a non-issue since the blood is harvested from the patient’s blood.
Convenience: Minimally invasive, only a small amount of blood is needed; Less expensive than similar treatments; Can be performed in conjunction with other treatments in a single appointment.
There are several ways in which PRP can be used in clinical dentistry
Bone Grafting: This includes, bone grafting for Implants, sinus lifts, ridge augmentation, and both inlay and onlay grafts, closure of a cleft lip, and cleft palate deformities.
Bone Repair: Facial trauma reconstruction, repairing of defects due to tooth removal.
Fistula Repair: This includes the repair of fistulas between the mouth and the sinus cavity.
Periodontal / Soft Tissue Repair: This includes repair of gingival recession and other periodontal defects.
One of the features that sets this technology apart from other platelet-rich plasmas (PRPs) is its versatility. It is possible to obtain, with one single extraction of the patient’s blood, up to 4 different formulations with therapeutic potential for different clinical cases.
